Dr. Semadar Cherlow

Dr. Semadar Cherlow is a lecturer of Jewish philosophy in the School for Basic Jewish Studies at the Bar-Ilan University.  Her Dissertation dealt with Rabbi Kook's mystical experience. The research was published as a book by Bar Ilan University press: "The Tzaddik is the Foundation of the World: Rav Kook’s Esoteric Mission and Mystical Experience”.
Later she also studied the effects of the New Age culture and contemporary spirituality on the conceptual world of Judaism. Her book on the subject was published by Resling: "Who Moved My Judaism? - Judaism, Postmodernism and Contemporary Spiritualities"
