    Dr. Tehila Elitzur holds a B.A and M.A in Jewish Thought from Hebrew University and a Ph.D in “Responsas of the Rosh on laws of Damages” from Ben Gurion University under the supervision of the late Prof. Yaakov Blidstein.
    Dr. Elitzur joined the staff of the School for Basic Jewish Studies in 2023 and has been lecturing for over a decade at Herzog College in Gush Etzion.
    Her expertise includes Babylonian Talmud, rabbinic literature, and rabbinic responsa.
    Alongside her academic research and teaching, Dr. Elitzur has taught in various batei midrash. She taught for 13 years at Matan in Jerusalem in the “Ptichta” program, which aims to enable women to experience Talmudic studies and acquire tools for independent learning. In the past five years, Dr. Eliztur has taught advanced groups in Talmud and Jewish law at Hadar Institute and Beit Midrash Har’el. Additionally, she is a teacher of Daf Yomi for “Anan K’vodecha.”
    Dr. Elitzur is a member of the rabbinic organization Beit Hillel and is socially active in various contexts.
